Shower Bombs
I'm off of Facebook! I deleted it on Friday afternoon and I have had the best weekend! I have looked at my phone less and have even picked up some Spanish thanks to my lovely husband! Amo a mi esposo! I've enjoyed not having Facebook so much it will probably stay gone for quite some time. I am still on Instagram though! And of course the blog. I'm hoping to keep the blog updated more now, so make sure you follow us if you want to stay in the loop.
So today I woke up and my house was a bomb. How did it happen? I'm not sure. I thought it was clean when I went to bed last night. Whatever. I decided tonight I need a relaxing "DIY" home spa night. I found this awesome pin on pinterest for Shower Fizzies and decided to make some this morning! The best part- you probably have most of the ingredients. All you need is water, baking soda, and your favorite essential oil. I used eucalyptus and lavender. I mixed it all up, popped them in an ice cube tray and put them in the oven on low to dry. I couldn't wait until tonight to try one, so I put one in the corner of our shower and turned the shower on....the aroma was amazing! I wanted to close my eyes and live in there for the next 24 hours. I was caught up in my daydream until S started pounding on the door yelling "MAMA!" Daydream over. Back to reality.
Whats your favorite essential oil? Or aromatherapy oil?

Updates
It's been a long time! I would really like to keep this blog updated though! I haven't been posting to Facebook that much. Anyway, here goes my first post in almost 6 months.
Josh just started his internship today! Yay! That means we are so so so close to graduation, yet so far away. I'm starting to feel a little cramped in our 2 bedroom apartment and am getting jealous of everyone that is moving right now. So Josh has his internship for the next 8 weeks at an orthodontists office in Idaho Falls. Then he gets to take the DAT in August. That's the Dental Admission Test and it will basically determine if he gets into dental school or not, so lets all keep him in our prayers that he does so well on that test!
After he takes that test he's starting another semester of classes in the Fall. We're hoping to be graduated by April, but there's a chance one of his classes will have to bumped to the spring semester (long story). So if that's the case we won't graduate until July (2016). After he graduates we can move anywhere we please (actually, anywhere that he can get a good full time job [if you have any leads, please let us know:) ])
Then we just get to work full time for a year as he puts in his applications and travels to admission interviews for Dental School. I feel so excited that we are getting so close, but i'm also feeling like a year is such a long time and I want to be done and moving now. I also just have to say that i'm super super super proud of this guy. His rocking it in school with A's in Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Physics classes! At the same time he spends time with me and the boys, goes to work, and he's currently doing his internship while doing all of the above as well! I feel really proud and lucky that I have such a hard working guy. He's getting so close to an awesome career!
An update on me? I'm still working from home with an awesome job, dealing with crazy kids who throw eggs of the stove in the morning (thats a story for a different time) and keeping the poor dog from being picked on too much.
Anyway, there's the update for all of you that really wonder what we're doing with our lives right now.

California Vacation
As a lot of you know, my parents rented a house right next to the beach in California for a week as our family Christmas present. I can say without a doubt it was the best Christmas I've ever had. Me and Josh picked up my grandma in Utah on the way down and were so grateful to be able to spend a few hours in the car to just talk with her. We finally got to Nevada on the night of Christmas and spent time with my parents and opened presents.
On Friday we left for California. Me and Josh followed my parents and grandma to California (My sister and brother were going to meet us there). We had a really fun caravan down, stopped at the family favorite Tommy Burgers, and had fun passing each other in the California traffic. It was so gorgeous in California that we didn't even mind the traffic...that much. We finally got to the house in San Clemente and unpacked. We put the boys down for bed and then Josh, my parents and I went for a walk down to the beach. I can't tell you how much I have missed the ocean. The next morning the whole family went for a walk down to the ocean and played in the water for a while. Maddox loved the sand and Sawyer just enjoyed the sun.
On Sunday we found a ward to go to and jumped in to their sacrament meeting. We spent the day hanging out in the hot tub, visiting, and enjoying family time. We sat around the glass fire pit and listened to my grandma tell stories which was so awesome.
Monday, me, Josh the boys and my mom, dad, and 2 nieces packed up and went to Disneyland. It really was such a fun day. It's different with babies, but definitely funner. I loved the smile and laughter that came from Maddox while we were there. He definitely had so much fun. His favorite ride was by far the teacups.
On Tuesday the whole family spent the day on the beach again. Josh was crazy and went straight into the water. I sat in a beach chair and I guy walked past me and said "Do you know that guy?" I said yes and he said "Is he crazy?" I said "No, just from Idaho" haha. Josh even got my dad into the water and they spent a good half hour playing in the waves. On Wednesday we went to the San Diego zoo. It was chillier in the morning but it was nice and warm that afternoon. Thursday morning Josh and my dad went surfing and Thursday afternoon we headed home. We had so much fun on the piers, balboa island, the house was amazingly gorgeous, the water was beautiful, the air smelled amazing. Oh how I love California. One day I will live there again.
Thank you again mom and dad for the best Christmas present ever. I don't know if we can top a Christmas like we had this year.
