The past 2 weeks!

It's been a while since I have written a post. It's been an eventful 2 weeks!
Me and Maddox flew to Nevada on the 24th. We spent a few days there before Josh came to join us. Let me say it was the best vacation ever! We had so much fun playing with Grammy and Papa and Danielle and her kids. For Thanksgiving we had a Leavitt family reunion at a church house. It was such a blast. Then my awesome cousin Ben (who was also my best friend in high school) got married to the super cute love of his life on Friday. I was so happy to be able to be at the temple with them! I'm so excited for them! After the wedding it was off to the Leavitt reunion again. We caught a ride back to Provo with my grandma Sommers and it was really fun to be able to spend a few hours just chatting with her. Maddox also liked riding with his "Great Sommers".
Maddox caught a little cold at the end of our trip. Then on Sunday when we got back Maddox rolled off of his changing table and hit the floor. He seemed fine for a while so we didn't take him into the quick care. Then that night he started throwing up like crazy, so we took him into the dr. and found out he just had the flu. So we dealt with the flu all week and finally on Wednesday I caught it from him. It just so happened to be the same day the power went out at 4:30am. After a few long hours of waiting at home we went to the University to get warm and get some warm food. Around 2 our power came back on and we were able to go back home and get warm.
Friday night Maddox's cold just seemed to get worse. He had a horrible cough all night long. So we took him into the Dr Saturday morning and found out he has an ear infection, sinus infection, and croup cough. He got put on breathing treatments and antibiotics. He still sounds pretty nasty today, but hopefully it will start clearing up soon. Also this morning me and Josh woke up with the cold. So it has been a long week. Our vacation the week before was the bomb though!
